Training.

 I have not posted in awhile. My updates, still training for the PCT every morning up at 5 and I don't seem to get out until 605 and normally have about 15 lbs on my back for a 6 to 11 mile hike depending on what app you use ( google maps, timeline is more generous) Google fit, is less generous with the mileage. I tried out the nemo tensor cf pad I got laying on it and seeing what side goes up. Pretty good with the trekking poles they have some serious use on them. Backpack I feel I am dialing in. Tightened the sholder straps and hip belt. Was reluctant to add the Nemo, cause I think it makes me look more homeless, but that is part of the deal. I am wearing the free Nike shirt that was given to me because its dry fit and the same shorts (they suck, they retain too much sweat) and the merlino wool underwear, pretty good, actually like how they support my legs. I for the life of me could not remember the place that I ordered a merlino jacket from paying with Etherium. I checked all the sites, Reddit, Instagram and finally found it in google emails I just got an email from him with a tracking number. Now waiting for Borah gear. I cleaned out an old peanut butter jar and made refried beans, it was good yesterday but today it smelled like it went bad. So I am starting to experiment with cold soaking food. 




I need to get for the tarp guy lines and stakes, learn how to tie some knots and set it up.  After I will start by sleeping outdoors, perhaps some thru the winter just to figure out how to tarp correcty.
